ANJ takes off with a drumming team building activity in
Bogor, just outside Jakarta, Java, Indonesia
An amazing team building activity was just enjoyed by ANJ in
beautiful Bogor just outside Jakarta, Java, Indonesia. InRhythm , Indonesia’s
leading drumming events company created a 1 hour program that had the team from
ANJ not only making harmonious music on their drums but also on their bodies!
We started the session with body percussion. Four teams were
created and each team learnt a simple rhythmic pattern using their body as a
drum. The four teams had to hold
their rhythm while the other team simultaneous performed their rhythms.
Everyone was completely focused as a team yet having immense
fun doing it. It not only served as a successful team building experience but
also allowed the team to enjoy themselves, feel energized and to get out of
their minds and into their bodies.
Then the drums…the team experienced what it took to make
great music together ( even if they had never made music before!) This time we had 2 teams who learn
specific patterns that provided just the right amount of challenge to the
group. During the session the team learnt about the value of working as a team
; strong and clear communication, listening, solid foundation, support, accountability,
respect and of course fun! All this was achieved through a powerful interactive
drumming event acting as a team building activity.
