Powerful Leaders - InRhythm Leadership Training

28 key leaders from Indonesia’s Oil and Gas Company VICO Indonesia experience first hand how to create leadership with an InRhythm Leadership Training Corporate Drumming Event. The corporate drumming was hosted at the Ritz Carlton Jakarta Indonesia.

Each of the leaders had just finished a full day of Leadership Training. To tie the whole day together we created an event to put into practise what the leaders had learned. An InRhythm Drumming Event was the perfect solution. VICO was in need of a powerful Leader Training / Team Building Event that created the perfect analogy to show how a great team of leaders works together. Through the drumming event we achieved this perfectly.

One of the keys to success was to show that a true leader is a able to lead and follow simultaneously. A leader needs to be present to all changes that affect their market as well as act quickly and keep leading.

Each player received a drum complete with their company logo engraved on it. The team was so excited when they heard the infectious drumming of the InRhythm Crew. Each VICO Leader took a drum and started the journey. Within 45 minutes the team had was having so much fun and at the same time experiencing a hands on approach to leadership training.

President and CEO Gunther Newcombe along with many of the leaders gave a personal thank you to the InRhythm team for creating an event which was unlike anything they had ever experienced before.

InRhythm will once again provide the WOW factor to the YAHOO! Asia Pacific Conference this year. Held at the Conrad Hotel in Bali.

I don't know if you have been to a conference before but ummmm they can make you a tad sleepy. So many companies worldwide invest huge amounts of time energy and money into events like this only to find them not so effective. The main reason is because the people at the events are not activated...there is usually death by power point presentations.. one presentation after another. People switch themselves off! And the message of the conference is missed. People need to be present, awake, activated, switched on...

Every Event Organizer in Jakarta must read this! An energizer drumming event in Jakarta for 300 Mihuzo staff just went through the roof!

We are on our way back to Bali from such an awesome event. Mihuzo just gave their staff a staff incentive or staff reward day. Held at the Shangri La in Jakarta the team of 300 staff lived it up big time!

Arie Daging was being a ridiculously funny host for the day. What a funny dude!

Also magician extraordinare Eki Lydian from Jakarta blew the audience away with a handful of seriously good tricks. There was one trick that actually made me feel a little sick inside. …the one with the nail under one plastic cup where he has to choose the cups without the nail and them with his hand…urgh!!

Then it was InRhythm. The event was all about reaching your potential for customers. So our theme for the audience was all about them achieving their potential first. How else can you help people achieve their potential if you haven’t achieved yours first.

With all 300 team players with a drum in hand I asked them to make their way to the front of the stage. As people came forward an amazing thing happened. Everyone started to play their drum…and in fantastic rhythm. By the time everyone was at the front of the stage we had the house rocking.

All 300 people had smiles from ear to ear, playing amazing harmonious music together as one team. People were genuinely excited and in a real state o joy. Smaller groups of people started to get really creative and made up there own rhythms which worked perfectly with the music.

The Sun Life – Seminar and Award Night was no ordinary night. Held at the Four Seasons Hotel, Jakarta, Indonesia was one of the most memorable events Sunlife has ever had…a corporate drumming event with InRhythm.

The Awards night was exciting and the perfect way to reward staff…especially when the interactive drumming event started! Our facilitators came out on stage and started drumming incredibly uplifting rhythms and asked everyone to grab the drum under their seat and to join in!

We gave a drum to every employee at the Yahoo! Client Summit Event on 4 October 2011 at the Albergo Ballroom The Bellezza Suites 5th floor, Jakarta, Indonesia.

In just minutes every person was drumming together as a successful productive team. The specific idea for this event was to motivate the team into action for the coming year to create record sales for YAHOO!

All that was needed was 20 minutes. We had every person standing up and out of their seats and grooving together in rhythm. People were smiling and cheering. Our event company could not believe how fantastic the event was.
